Environmental Chemist
Synectics has an opening for a full time Environmental Chemist to perform consulting work under federal and state environmental programs.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline, have between five and ten years experience in the environmental industry, command a thorough understanding of analytical procedures and environmental regulations and have exceptional writing skills. Working knowledge of standard environmental database formats is a plus, as is experience with statistical, GIS or visualization software.
Data Manager
Synectics has an opening for a full time Data Manager to analyze and manage data associated with environmental chemistry results.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline, have a thorough understanding of analytical procedures, and have some exposure to environmental regulations. Candidates must be reliable, fastidious and self-motivated, with good planning and organizational skills. Experience with computer desktop applications and the Internet is required, preferably with Microsoft Office products. Working knowledge of standard environmental database formats is a plus.
