Description: The number assigned to all components of a screened interval to facilitate data validation. A screened interval is composed of the following components: blank, grout, seal, filter-pack, screen, and foot. Screened intervals are numbered sequentially with #1 being the interval closest to the ground surface. For wells containing multiple screened intervals, the Interval Ending Depth (IEDEPTH) of the screen (or foot for the terminal interval) is always considered to be the last member of that interval. |
