Description:

Ambient Blank Field Lot Identifier is used in ERPTools to relate a lot of normal and derived QC samples (collected in the field) to their related ambient blank(s).

There will only be an entry for normal and derived QC samples that are associated with an ambient blank. This field will be left blank in the sample record for the ambient blanks themselves.  The format for the ABLOT field entry is [DDMMYYNN] where DD is the numeric date of the month, MM is the 2-digit month, YY is the last two digits of the calendar year, and NN is the sequentially assigned sample number (SAMPNO) of the blank sample.
